There are several lovely settings in and around The Barn that can be used for wedding ceremonies. The most popular locations include the grapevine-covered corn crib and the arbor in the garden. As an added convenience, The Farmhouse, also located on the grounds, is available for rent for the bridal party or out-of-town guests.

As part of your wedding package, Kindred Ground offers a converted former milkhouse for use as a Groom’s or Bridal Room where you can prepare for your ceremony. 

Our own venue coordinator will work with you or your event coordinator to make your day as special as possible. You can rely on our experience and the knowledge of our professional partners to help you plan and coordinate the hundreds of details needed for your event to be a success.

An event at Kindred Ground includes:

- Space to host up to 150 guests indoors
- Room for tent set up for parties 150+
- Indoor or outdoor ceremony site
- Parking for 100+ cars on site 
- Staff directing cars upon arrival
- A dedicated room for caterer set up
- Accommodations for a standard DJ set up 

Kindred Ground has three Preferred Caterers: Partyman Catering (Avon, NY), Chef’s Catering (Rochester, NY), and King’s Catering (Canandaigua, NY). Have a budget in mind? Want to be creative? Our caterers will work with you to provide delicious food your guests will rave about for a long time!
